Bures Farmers Market tomorrow

We are back at the monthly Bures Market tomorrow Saturday 10th November. This month we have our first Quince Jelly, Quince Conserve, Cranberry with Orange and Port, Christmas Mincemeat and Almond Mincemeat. It’s been a busy week! All look fabulous so come and have a taste.

We have Mirabelles!

I have just got back from a 1500 mile motorcycle trip to Switzerland and France to visit Libby’s father. It was Mirabelle season in France with stalls along the road selling these lovely bright yellow plums. The tree near Colchester that Libby got her plums from blew down, so we didn’t have any last year.

A busy weekend ahead

We will be at the friendly Bures Farmers market on Saturday 12th May. Down on the Common Land next to the River Stour it is a lovely market with some great stalls. Then on Sunday we’re at the South Suffolk Show at Ampton near Bury St Edmunds – another great day out.
