Sudbury and Wyken Vineyards
We’re at the Sudbury Farmers Market tomorrow Friday 31st on a sunny Market Hill! Then on Saturday we’re at our first market at the lovely Wyken Vineyard. That should be great fun, and well worth a visit. The restaurant opens for the first time since lockdown. Treat yourself to a great day out!
Lavenham on Sunday 26th
We’re back at the excellent Lavenham farmers market on Sunday. Weather seems to be set fair, so it should be a great trip out. We’ve the first batch of mixed tomato chutney from this year’s crop, and yummy blackcurrant jam. Hope to see you there!
Sudbury and Lavenham are Go!
The excellent Sudbury and Lavenham farmers markets are kicking off again this weekend. Sudbury will be back in St Peter’s and also on the square outside from 9:30 till 2 tomorrow. Then on Sunday the Lavenham market will resume outside the village hall from 10 till 2. Lots of great products to restock since the
Bures is on!
The lovely Bures Farmers Market is on again this Saturday 13th June. There should be about a dozen stalls, so come and stock up on the things you’ve been missing during lockdown! We’ll be on the river meadow from 10 till 1.
Markets starting to open up again
At last the farmers markets are getting going again! Katy’s checking with traders whether we should restart Bures on the second Saturday in June. Sudbury should be going on the last Friday of June, with stalls inside and outside St Peters. Then Ipswich should restart as soon as the work on Cornhill Square has been
The Jam Shed’s gone solar!
We’ve been busy here during lockdown, building up stock and supplying our farm shops who have been manic. We’ve also installed solar PV panels, which on a good day generate an amazing amount of power. So we hope to do most of our cooking on solar – sunshine in a jar! We’ve sent out the

Farmers markets cancelled
It is with much disappointment that we have to pass on the news that all the Suffolk Market Events farmers markets have been cancelled for March and April. Justine will review the situation for May. The lovely Bures Farmers Market kicks off for 2020 on Saturday. Come down to the green alongside the river and restock! We have Mint and Raspberry dressing again at last. Plus all the other regulars. The market runs from 10 till 1, so come early.
