Mad May, as we call it!
Sunday 5th May: Ipswich Farmers Market on the new Cornhill Square. This new market started last month, run by Suffolk Market Events. A fabulous range of stalls to offer something for everyone.
Saturday 11th May: Bures Farmers Market. The lovely laid back market on the Common Land next to the river.
Sunday 12th May: South Suffolk Show at Ampton, north of Bury St Edmunds. The first of the agricultural shows, a great day out for everyone.
Saturday 18th May: Hadleigh Show. A super show, this year featuring Monster Trucks Big Pete and the Grim Reaper – and Titan the Robot. Don’t miss it!
Sunday 26th and Monday 27th May: Bury St Edmunds Whitsun Fayre. The Bury events are always massive, and well worth a day out. Get there early, as it will be busy!
We will miss the regular Sudbury Farmers Market on Friday 31st May, as I will be in South Africa for my mother’s 90th birthday! Anyone local to Sudbury can always call in if you’re desperately in need of anything.
