Rain Doesn’t Dampen the Day at Bury St Edmunds

After a great day on Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday had a very poor forecast. Well for once they were right. The heavens opened at midday. Most stalls on Angel Hill packed up , but the die hards stuck it out which of course included The Jam Shed.

Those that stuck it out were rewarded by the rain stoping about 1.30pm and the public arriving to taste and buy the wonderful food on offer.

Well done to Beehouse Honey, Tottham Bangers, The Essex Bakery and others as well as Justine (our market manager) and the security staff for sticking it out.

See you at the next market at Jimmy’s Farm on Saturday 5th  September.
