What a compliment? Ceders Park WI asked The Jam Shed to give the centenary talk on preserving. The talk last night was a great success.
The audience of 25+ of mixed experienced jammers and preserving virgins asked really interesting questions on all aspects of preserving from what ingredients to how long to cook it and setting points (always an issue). We covered hedgerow fruits, vegetables, conserves, jellies, chutneys, equipment, shelf life and so much more.
A brilliant group who made us very welcome even sharing their delicious and very boozy centenary cake. We look forward to coming back for a cooking demonstrate.
